For many of us with a Chinese heritage, the Lunar New Year is an important festival.
It signifies a new beginning, brings us a fresh wave of hope and renewed dreams as we celebrate it surrounded by loved ones, feasting together on auspicious dishes and festive wishes.
At Ho Jiak Haymarket, we’re excited to bring you our Chinese New Year 2020 menu to feast with us. Bursting with familial love, our Head Chef Junda is bringing Amah’s personal favourite Lunar Dishes to Ho Jiak this year.
With dishes such as the must-have Salmon Yee Sang for a prosperous Lo Hei, our Lobster Fried Rice, and our famous Venison Hor Fun – you can definitely expect Chinese New Year at Ho Jiak to be a memorable festivity with your family and friends.
Other special highlights on our Chinese New Year menu include Amah’s favourite Teochew Barra, aromatic Saké Pipis, her Kay Cheng Kay, Chap Choy, and Pumpkin Puree Tofu. Paying tribute to Amah, Chef Junda’s Tofu is served on a bed of her favourite pumpkin purée, pimped up with Spanner Crab Meat and Trout Roe from Spain.
