As new concepts from design to delivery evolve, it is becoming increasingly apparent that the future of the built environment includes a convergence of the business models we see and work in today. There are great productivity and economic efficiencies that can be gained through convergence of services in the built environment value chain. Our speakers will demonstrate the emerging possibilities with advanced technology.

Tristan Morgan of Cox Architecture talking about the Transcendence of our industry, and the move from single discipline innovation to platform based multi-disciplinary innovation.

Our friends from Probuild - Luke Stambolis and Ynomia - Adam Jago will talk about the connected Job site and procure chain using BLEAT technology.

Tristan Morgan is Innovation Lead of the Cox National Design Technology Committee, an active member of the Cox Futures Committee, and coordinates Cox’s National Computational Design Working Group. The integration of emerging and innovative technology within practice is a key focus of his work, which is balanced against providing critical digital technology and computational support and advice to project teams. He has project experience across the a range of scales, with a focus on regional projects and the combination of natural materials and advanced computation, manufacturing and assembly. His PhD research is concerned with the computational design of nonstandard architectural structures using Australian timber resources, enabling him to engage in transdisciplinary practice that transcends architecture, engineering, materials science, and adjunct design and research fields.Tristan continues to teach and research and is currently a Teaching Associate at the University of Western Australia, as well as an active contributor to local and internal conferences on Computational and Computer-Aided Design Modelling.

Luke Stambolis has had an exciting 22 year career in large scale commercial construction, having worked on major projects in both Australia and the United Kingdom. Today he leads the Probuild Victoria business as Managing Director and sits on the Group Australian board as an Executive. Luke’s refined property and delivery skills demonstrated a proven track record of concerting iconic projects and working with clients and key stakeholders across multiple sectors to ensure the client product is delivered to their expectations and KPIs. Luke is strong advocate for innovative thinking and developing new technology for the construction industry, devising the Probuild Construction System (PCS) in 2016 and most recently a start-up collaboration with CSIRO’s Date61 around loT technology on job sites. He believes the industry has an immense opportunity over the next decade to make significant advancements in reducing inefficient practices in over production, re-work, misaligned client vision, misaligned employee empowerment and importantly a real opportunity to build-in quality at better prices through elimination of wasteful practice.headshots28629-1.png

One of three Co-founders of Ynomia, Adam started his career in 2009 with Lendlease in Melbourne, Australia, working across multiple residential towers in the then emerging Victoria Harbour precinct located in Melbourne’s Docklands. He moved to Dubai, UAE in 2013 where I worked across UAE, UK and India for Multiplex where I was focused on large scale complex structures. After leaving the industry in December 2017 we incorporated Ynomia in January 2018 where he has been focused on product strategy and business development.

Ynomia is an Australian based IoT technology company developing a hardware-enabled software platform delivering real-time location services for indoor environments lacking traditional data networks. Incorporated in early 2018, our product applications focus on productivity and safety improvement for large construction sites.
