Our Financial Capability Coaching training offers a range of practical coaching tools to:
This training has been developed and trialled by Good Shepherd Australia New Zealand over two years. It is based on our research and evidence-based outcomes in supporting women to create and sustain a productive relationship with money. It is supported by our approach and findings in our Firmer Foundations® program.
We define financial capability coaching as: “…a process by which people determine their financial goals and the pathways and tools they need to achieve these goals. Coaching recognises that people are experts on themselves, their lives and the outcomes they are seeking. Through the coaching process, people maintain ownership of their goals to create sustainable change and greater self-determination.”
This training provides both personal and professional development.
Training is delivered through two interactive modules, over 2.5 days. Participants can elect to do Module One only if they wish. Both modules are recommended for people working intensively with women and their families who are experiencing financial stress and disadvantage.
