Our weekly Tuesday 7:00pm meditation classes at Bassendean Memorial Library.
Sahaja Yoga Free Meditation - Self-Realisation Kundalini Awakening. Founded by Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi in 1970. Experience "Thoughtless Awareness", the true state of pure meditation.
"Saha" means 'with',"Ja" means 'born' and "Yoga" means 'Union'. Sahaja Yoga is directly translated to English as "Born within you union". We can further translate Sahaja Yoga to "Spontaneous union".
During the experience of Self-Realisation, the Kundalini energy is awakened in the sacrum bone and rises through the spinal cord, piercing the fontanelle bone at the centre of the scalp.
A cool wind can then be felt on both palms and above the top of the head. This cool wind is referred to as the "Holy Spirit" or "The Cool Breeze of the Holy Ghost" within all of us.
When this cool wind is experienced above the top of the head during meditation, we are in a state of union with the divine energy within the cosmos and within ourselves, thus realising the "Self".
What to expect at a FREE Sahaja Yoga meditation class is; firstly the Self-Realisation Kundalini Awakening experience for newcomers, spiritual purification (clearing) and balancing sessions, a playback of a recorded talk of Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi and collective meditation sessions.
