FUNCTIONAL YOGA at DIONYSOS FITNESS
YOGA HIGHLIGHTS
Dionysos Fitness and Mettā Yoga Luxembourg proudly present FUNCTIONAL YOGA at DIONYSOS.
Fitness and Yoga are simply a match made in heaven. Join us on 4 Sundays in September/October from 11h00-12h15 (75min) to start your Sunday with an uplifting yoga flow. Functional yoga is for everybody regardless their fitness level, flexibility, age, gender etc.
“Functional Yoga is based on the scientifically proven premise that our skeletons, tissues, physiology, temperament and motivation are made and organized in a unique way that is ours only and not repeated anywhere else in the Universe. This uniqueness comes with the whole package of talents and limitations that constitute who we are.” (

ABOUT VALERIE (Mettā)
From a young age, Valérie got in touch with healing energy and spirituality. She is deeply interested in what moves us creatively and believes in the pure magic of authenticity. Valérie, better known as Mettā Yoga Luxembourg is trained in Vinyasa, Thai Yoga Massage, Yoga Nidra, with a deep love towards the slow introspective Yin Yoga practice.
The diversity of each and everybody leads her to teach yoga with a functional approach, to suit the needs of every student. To cultivate Mettā (loving kindness) she implements storytelling into her yin and yoga nidra classes. Yoga is much more than just a physical practice, deep connection and healing can occur while on and off the mat. With a deep gratitude towards her teachers Biff Mithoefer, Uma Dinsmore-Tuli, Anat Geiger, Marcel van de Vis as well as Paul and Suzee Grilley.
