Gauteng Homeschool Expo

The annual Homeschool Expo in Gauteng is organised by the SAHomeschoolers in co-operation with Kragdag. It offers a number of things to make it worthwhile for parents that are considering home education, parents that have just started and experienced parents. There is a curriculum expo with a large variety of exhibitors. At the seminar experts will discuss various subjects related to home education. You can meet other homeschooling parents in the food court and there is plenty of space for children to play.
Workshops will be presented by well known speakers Martie du Plessis, Karin van Oostrum and Shirley Erwee. An exclusive video interview with the international renowned researcher dr. Brian Ray will be screened, where he answers questions from South African parents. The Pestalozzi Trust will provide an overview of the regulatory threats to home education and present a workshop on small schools.
