The George Tavern presents.. The Semper Teens + Robin Romei + Death Ohh Eff + Jingo

The Semper Teens
http://thesemperteens.com/

Although having only been together for a year, the assured confidence and swagger of The Semper Teens is one of the first things you notice as the trio from Brighton take to the stage. Lead by the bleach blonde, Timothy Vincent Cassini, the band have a combined rhythmical tautness, unbridled raw energy and a natural approach to melody that is beyond infectious.

Having churned out material at an alarming rate, The Semper Teens now make good with their first release, the 4-track 7″ EP, ‘Somebody’. Citing influences such as Iggy & The Stooges, the Velvet Underground and the Pixies, TST take their own off-brand version of pop with the intent to subvert the masses.

Robin Romei

Robin Romei is a musician from the South East England, UK. The music is characteristically upbeat with contrasting downbeat lyrical content, more inclined to push and is primarily synth driven, with hardrock and punk influences.
Despite limited musical education Romei began playing, writing and recording music at home from his mid teens. Although this was not uncommon, the sound was not similar to any of his peers.
In 2012 Robin Romei recorded with Producer Adrian Hall for two singles for general release in 2013.

Death Ohh Eff

Obliterating Rupert Murdoch's media empire one obtuse pop-song at a time Death Ohh Eff hail from the sleepy suburban bliss of Warwickshire and now reside in grubby south london. Comprising of Guy Middleham (drums), Joseph Goody (guitar, vocals), George Collum (bass) and occasionally the RAWDOG (guitar)

Jingo
https://www.facebook.com/jingomusic

Jingo is a dynamic and curious four-piece affair. They are, consequently, Jack Buckett, his U.S. wife, Katie, Joseph Reeves and latest addition, Sahil Batra. The four have been making music with other bands in Brooklyn, New York and London for a fair few years. Eager to get their new project on the go they have now decided to embark upon a shared venture and have a loyal and devout group of co-patriots in the UK and US. Supporting Graham Coxon of Blur as their first gig in March 2013, they are out of the blocks and running. Jingo is a unique genetic composite, and one that has not been seen too often on the music scene. We had a similar nationality cross-breeding with Fleetwood Mac, The Magic Numbers, and a few other acts, but they are few and far between.
The band has released 3 debut singles on soundcloud, recorded and mixed by themselves and are already back in the studio working on the next release due out this summer when they will also be playing a large series of shows throughout the UK.
