Area of Interest: Languages

Feel at home anywhere with languages.

Hallo! (Hello!)

There are over 230 million speakers of German globally, and this number is rising fast. Whether you’re interested in communicating in Europe’s most commonly spoken language, or reading Goethe while travelling along the Romantic Road, German is one of the most useful and accessible languages to learn today.

We invite you to spend a few hours every week in Germany with us, to learn the language of Nietzsche, Beethoven, Marlene Dietrich, and Einstein.

UNSW Global courses are designed to create opportunities for real-life communication practice and connect you with other people who share your interests.

Did you know?

-        German and English share more than a quarter of their vocabulary, so you probably already know more German than you think you do!

-        Wanderlust (noun): the strong desire to travel

This course runs weekly on Thursdays from 6:30pm to 8:30pm for ten weeks.
