Gincident: (noun) An event that happened due to one too many gins.

South Australia is the “Festival State” and the “Gin State”, so what better way to celebrate such titles than to have a Gin Festival? Inside the Flour Shed, the main bar – “Ginsational” – will be run by one of Adelaide’s favourite gin dens, The Howling Owl, making gin cocktails with some of the finest Australian Gins. Festival goers will also be able to try free samples from around 20 different gin distillers and enjoy the beauty of the garnish bar. Outside there will be a selection of amazing local food vendors, to let you dine with friends under the leafy canopy of Mundy Street. Gincident will kickstart you into the spirit of Christmas (get it?!) with festive craft stalls and Christmas-Special Gin batches, so you can get a head start on your shopping!

What does your ticket include?
Entry into Gincident - an event that happened due to one too many gins! 14 Dec 2019, a branded Gincident Cup to the first 1500 through the gate. Collect your Gincident cup at the Ginformation booth on arrival. This will be used for your 5ml tasting samples from distillers (to be rinsed at stalls), to fill up with purchases of a refreshing G&T or tasty cocktail throughout the day. Please hold onto this as it is your link to the joys of the juniper berry all day. Gincident Showbags will also be available for pre-purchase at $15 or on site for $20.
Can I enjoy my Gin with some live music?
You certainly can! There will be live entertainment throughout the event.
Will there be food?
Yes indeed! Some of the best food vans in Adelaide, no less. Delicious food to enjoy with amazing Gin.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Under 18's are not recommended to attend Gincident. ID maybe requested at service areas. A children's craft tent will be happening in Mundy Street with lots of great food for them, Henna art and music for those who need to attend with their parents. $10

Can we buy tickets on the door on the day of the event?
A limited number of tickets will be available on the gate. We suggest you book ahead to avoid disappoitment. Due to capcity numbers of the venue, we expect this to sell out!
Will there be an ATM on site?
Yes, there will be but we are aiming for a cashless event
Can I leave and then come back?
Re-entry is not permitted.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes, but a ticket on your phone may also be accepted

Yes, we know these things happen and we are glad you can come along in someones place. ID may be requested.

Port Adelaide is a 22minute drive from the CBD down Port Road

Car parking is available at the front of the Flour Shed and surrounding streets
