Tenor, Charles Reid, one of the leading lyric tenors of his generation, presently under 'fest' contract at the Nationaltheater Mannheim, has sung with the Metropolitan Opera for several seasons and has performed at festivals in Bayreuth, Salzburg and Glimmerglass. He currently heads the Voice Studies department at Andrews University.
Soprano, Jessica McCormack, is Head of Voice Studies at Indiana University South Bend, has sung at Carnegie Hall, under the direction of Ton Koopman, Helmuth Rilling, and Robert Spano and has soloed at the Boston Early Music Festival. She is a national winner of the Canadian Music Competition (vocal división) and a finalist in the Bel Canto Chorus Regional Artists Competition.
Baritone, Stephen Lancaster, Assistant Professional Specialist of Voice at the University of Notre Dame, was declared winner & audience favorite in the 2013 Nico Castel International Mastersinger Competition at Weill Recital Hall, and was the Central Region winner in the 2014 NATS Artist Awards competition. He has performed extensively in the United States and abroad.
Mezzo-soprano, Julie Reid, serves as Adjunct Voice Faculty at Andrews University and Indiana University South Bend. Her undergraduate studies in music took place at Westminster Choir College of Rider University and her graduate studies at Hartt School of Music, University of Hartford.
Conductor, Bradley Krueger, music director at First Presbyterian Church, is an alumnus of the Aspen Music School and Andrews University—MMus in Choral Conducting. He has sung with the Santa Fe Desert Chorale and recently attended Sasha Mäkilä's Conducting Workshop at the Gergiev Festival Mikkeli, Finland. He is also a Foundationer at the Tallis Scholars Summer School at Oakham, England, directed by Peter Phillips. As a music educator, he currently instructs voice at Lake Michigan College (MI)
A world-class Dowd harpsichord will be featured at this performance - generously loaned by a family from FPC. It has been used at Chicago's Ravinia Festival on more than one occasion.
