Do you have a great idea for a community project, but want some help to start your Community Project Grant application? Have you started writing your application, but are not sure if it meets the mark? We're here to support you.

Come along to a free workshop for some hands-on help with your Community Project Grant application including:

  • the basic elements of what makes a strong grant application
  • advice on responding to a selection criteria
  • tips and tricks for project planning, budgeting and much more

Each workshop will start with grant writing advice with the remaining time is available for you to work on your application with staff support. Workshops will be in a computer room for you to use the online SmartyGrants platform.

The venue is wheelchair accessible and we can cater for other accessibility requirements upon request (AUSLAN interpreters, ESL interpreters, etc.). Some computers will be available or you are also welcome to bring your own device or laptop.

To be eligible for a workshop, you need to have read the Community Project Grants Applicant Guidelines and also need to have a project idea that meets the criteria for this grant. Please ensure you have read the guidelines and bring your project idea with you.

Places are limited for each session, so register to secure your place.

If you have any questions about these sessions or Community Project Grants please contact Kate via email at communityprojectgrants@logan.qld.gov.au, phone (07) 3412 5765 or visit logan.qld.gov.au/cpg for more information.
