Heel & Toe Polka - Sock Skills Sampler Workshop @ FibreFeastSA2020

Expand your repertoire and increase your confidence in knitting toe up or downsock patterns! In this class you will learn two methods of toe construction and twostyles of heel, developing transferable skills in shaping using short rows, stretchybind-off and Kitchener stitch.

Teacher bio:Pru Raymond is a qualified educator and creative who has a passion for slowfashion. She began knitting and sewing as a child, her interest in knittingencouraged by her grandmother’s steady supply of English Women’s Weeklypatterns. As a life-long learner, she is always seeking to discover more about herfavourite craft’s diverse historical and cultural expressions, and enjoys sharing theseinsights with her students in her bespoke workshops, hosted regularly in Adelaide.Her original, self-published patterns are available online through ravelry.com

Materials required

• 3.25mm - 4mm circular needle
• 3 mini-skeins x 10g 4-8 ply yarn in three distinct colours
• a 30cm piece of waste yarn in a contrasting colour
• Instruction booklet (provided by tutor)

Minimum of 4 students

Maximum of 15 students

Cost:

$50 per person (plus eventbrite booking fee)
