From little things, big things grow. Find our how your actions and decisions can create impact, for the better!
What you do can have an incredible impact. For good, or not, the actions we take affect more than just us. In chaos theory, the Butterfly Effect looks at how small changes can have large effects.
Sam and Christie, two friends from Melbourne, saw large volumes of unnecessary waste at music festivals and large events. They created bettercup, an alternative to single-use disposable plastic cups. The impact: less waste.
James Grugeon brews beer. With a marine-life friendly, biodegradable packaging, the Great Barrier Beer from The Good Beer Co. supports the work of the Australian Marine Conservation Society. The Good Beer Co. is also a social enterprise beer company which means you can enjoy beer while also raising funds and awareness for good causes. The impact: a good beer which gives back.
So, what’s your impact?
In this forum, we will focus on plastics. Join Sam and Christie from bettercup, James Grugeon from The Good Beer Co. and moderator Nick Kamols from PowerWells to understand your impact and discuss how to create and influence change, what you can do to transform your business and create a positive impact.
We will also be collecting old laptop batteries for Powerwells to use in future projects, so please bring your old batteries and we will have a disposal station set up.
This event will be streamed live on Facebook – you can join us
