Do you feel disconnected from your body? Do you have a habit of straining or stiffening your body? Do you hold your breath without realising?

We all have quirky ways that we move and habitual postures. We use these shortcuts to get by day-to-day without thinking too much. It's just what we do...

But by becoming aware of how you move and hold yourself you can find more comfortable ways to do everyday activities. Improving your mobility can safeguard your independence, too.

Making little changes, no matter how insignificant, can make a big difference in your life.

Awareness Through Movement classes will help you:

• Become aware of your habitual patterns of movement and posture

• Learn to take care of yourself and gently expand your limits

• Improve your movement patterns and increase your choices

• Breathe and move more freely

Classes are kept small – no more than 6 clients per class. That way I can track your progress and comfort. It provides plenty of space to move around the room freely while keeping physical/social distancing.

These floor classes are suitable for adults 18 years and older who can move without assistance.

No drop-ins – bookings essential.
Adults $180 ($135 unwaged, retirees, & students 18 years & older).
(Early bird $10 discount if booked by Sun 5 July 2020. Discount automatically applied at check out.)

Weekly classes held Monday mornings 9:30-10:30 a.m. & Tuesday evenings 6:00-7:00 p.m.
