We are delighted to invite you to the inaugural InterFirm event in Brisbane, presented by Deloitte.

This year, 28 June marks the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots of 1969 (‘Stonewall’) – a date widely regarded as the beginning of the international gay rights movement, which will be celebrated in New York throughout the month of June for WorldPride 2019.

Stonewall contributed to a shift in Australian culture, sparked an urgency for change around the world and forged the beginning of what has become our world-famous ‘Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras’.

To mark this occasion, InterFirm will present: ‘A journey through LGBTIQ+ History', showcasing the major milestones and achievements over the course of the modern century and the advances yet to be accomplished, with our very special guest speaker – The Honourable Michael Kirby AC CMG.

The event will kick off with arrival from 5.30pm before a presentation commencing at 6:00pm.
