International Students Information Session - sharing experiences

Challenges faced by international students in Australia can be positive and enjoyable. However, many students who want to assimilate into the Australian culture whether with work or study, face difficulties due to the lack of information and understanding of the Australian culture.

Do you want to gain knowledge about being a member of the Australian community? Do you want to know more about some of the social services offered by government and community organisations like Relationships Australia Queensland, working with youth, children and parents and the larger community? Do you want to have a chance to listen and interact with various counselling, psychology and social work professionals and feel more confident and welcome?

This is an opportunity to learn how to identify and manage cultural differences and addressing expectations of working in a real work environment!
