For the first time EVER in Malmö, we are excited to announce that Aerial Yoga is here! Be the FIRST to try aerial yoga with our introduction workshop.
After having participated in this workshop you will be able to come to regular, weekly Aerial classes in our studio!
This workshop is designed for beginners to aerial yoga and will cover the basic principles of aerial yoga. The class is slow paced, created for beginners to learn about the hammocks and their bodies. Learn about safety, setting up the hammock and learning how to use the hammock as a tool for your practice. Discover how to use the hammock to find alignment in the body, build strength, improve flexibility and confidence on the mat. Finding new ways to explore your practice! This workshop will prepare you to take aerial yoga classes and is a prerequisite for the weekly classes coming in fall.
What is aerial yoga?
A new and fun way to practice yoga! Using a gentle, airy silk hammock to support your practice. In the classes you will develop flexibility and strength, working with long deep stretches and core and upper body strengthening to move in and out of the hammock. Attention is put on accuracy of movement and proper breathing to feel your best in the practice. Practicing aerial yoga greatly improves posture, flexibility, breathing, concentration and calmness of mind, while at the same having fun with this new challenge!

What to wear:
- Comfortable clothes without buttons and a top with sleeves and thin socks.
