Creatively responding to challenges facing the youth of today and into the future.
This course will give the participants the tools they need to build a worthwhile future designed with the permaculture ethic of Care for the Earth, Care for People and a Fair Share of the Earths resources.
The range of ages for the participants is 7 to 12 years.
The course facilitators will be Kate Beveridge of Purple Pear Farm and Kirsten Roberts of Elaringai Permaculture.
The Saturday afternoon sessions are designed to give the young people a fun and engaging look at the practices of Permaculture. Over the ten weeks the participants will do a mix of practical and classroom activities to enhance the knowledge of the design system.
We invite parents of the participants to join in on the group activities.
