Description
This workshop is a great follow on from the Film Photography & Developing workshop, or just a first taste of the darkroom for those already shooting film, that have not yet made prints in the darkroom.
Capturing photographs on film is only half the process. Making your own prints by hand is the next step in the film photography workflow. This might be a one time experience, or the start of a lifelong passion.
You will be taken through the steps of making test strips to determine best exposure and contrast, contact prints and making enlargements form your negatives. You will then work individually on your own enlarger, getting individual guidance with each step of the printing process. Each participant will make a contact sheet of their negatives and at least several enlarged prints to take home at the end of the session.
