A certified Iyengar Yoga teacher with 20+ yrs experience, Kathys instructions will help you achieve precision and body alignment. As a regular practitioner, you can also expect to improve your overall wellbeing, strength, posture and more.

Our full Wednesday classes are continuing, but there's room left in our new Monday classes, sold in 5-wk blocks so you can have a trial before signing up for life!

WHAT: IYENGAR YOGA CLASSES

WHEN: MONDAYS, 7-8pm (Beginners/General, Mon 24 August - Mon 21 September)

BOOKINGS: $77.50 upfront for a 5-wk program (approx $15 per class)

INSTRUCTOR:

Kathy Elwell's journey with yoga began when she moved from Perth to Sydney in 1984. As a student, she attended a weekly yoga class at Essential Living Skills, then completed a Teacher training course at Sydney Yoga Centre and began teaching at E.L.S. During this time she was introduced to Iyengar yoga, beginning her pursuit of this which lead to undertaking a teacher training course with Pixie Lillas at Balmain Yoga Studio in 2002. After becoming a certified Iyengar teacher, Kathy has had various roles instructing in Iyengar yoga, including currently at WA School Of Yoga in Shenton Park and now at CECS.
