In the maker space, the children will macramé a hanging planter from street banners and make a kokedama plant, tinker with tools to discover how things work and create their own leather tag for their school bag.
In between creative making sessions, they’ll take a tour through the warehouse and find out the stories behind some of the interesting items they see. They’ll also discover the important job of a worm, how easy it is to recycle at home and school, and discuss all the little things they can all do to make a big difference for their environment.
They are also running Kids Day Out Two on the very last day of the holidays. Check out other classes to see what they'll be making.
