The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) immigration and labour laws are constantly evolving, placing increasing responsibility on businesses to ensure that their internal processes, policies and documentation are fully up-to-date and compliant.
Labour & Employment Law in Saudi Arabia has been designed to provide insight into best practice, giving delegates an understanding of current trends in KSA within the immigration and employment context. The course will also provide delegates with an overview of, and insight into, the KSA immigration and labour law regimes.
Additionally, upon attending this course, delegates will learn the key immigration and labour law framework and an employer’s overarching duties, responsibilities and obligations towards its employees, including potential liabilities and risk for non-compliance.
Who Should Attend
This course will be highly beneficial for those working in human resources, as well as company secretaries and legal heads that have had minimal formal training in KSA immigration and labour law and wish to consolidate their experience in the region. In addition, it would also benefit in-house counsel who have recently transferred to the KSA region.

Anir Chatterji leads PwC Legal Middle East’s Immigration and Employment practice. He has over 10 years of experience in the employment and immigration industry.
Anir is experienced with delivering immigration services, including risk and compliance, to multinational corporations, SMEs, and private high-net-worth individuals for a number of jurisdictions. Anir also has substantial experience in the finance sector, having led an immigration programme on-site for a multinational bank for a few years and having delivered corporate immigration services for top-ranked immigration practices. Since joining PwC Legal, Anir has project managed several global transitions and account implementations and has in-depth experience working with companies in the technology, automotive, and oil and gas industries.
Anir regularly speaks at external events advising on changes to immigration law and policy. In addition, he writes extensively in legal journals and numerous other publications. Anir also provides in-house training for clients.
Anir is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and Immigration Law Practitioners’ Association (ILPA). He holds a degree in Law and Politics, and is also registered with the UK’s Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner. In addition, Anir is a dual-qualified lawyer (Solicitor of England and Wales and U.S. Attorney-at-Law, New York).

The Institute of Public Administration was founded by the instrument of Royal Decree no. 93 of 10.4.1961, as a body-corporate, autonomous government agency. The purpose of its establishment was to increase the efficiency of public employees and educate them, so as to make them capable of shouldering their responsibilities and use their jurisdiction in a manner that would raise the level of administration and support the foundation of national economic development. In addition, the IPA contributes to the administrative organization of government departments, offers consultations on administrative problems referred to it by government ministries and agencies, undertakes administrative research, and enhances cultural ties in the field of public administration.
