Lauryn Hill at the Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival

US rapper, singer and songwriter Lauryn Hill will headline the first night of the Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival on 26 February. While she found fame as one-third of the Fugees – behind experimental R&B tracks Ready or No’ and Killing Me Softly – it was Hill’s record-breaking, critically-acclaimed solo album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill that rocketed her to stardom.

Supporting her on the night is Bruno Major, who will channel his jazz musician roots to get crowds into the festival’s spirit. Emerging in the UK music scene in 2014, Major has gone on to release warmly received albums and even accompanied singing sensation Sam Smith on his international tour.
