Last Lions In The End Tour - Adelaide
Perth indie punk up-and-comers Last Lions are returning to Adelaide on their In The End Tour this April! The major national tour celebrates their hot new single AND hot new bassist.
Calum McLaughlin also plays in fellow Perth band Girl From Mars and has engineered and mixed several celebrated releases including Spacey Jane’s No Way To Treat An Animal EP and Great Gable’s GG EP.
The band’s newest single contains their filthiest, fuzziest breakdown yet as well as their sunniest, acoustic guitar and tambourine sing along to date. In The End details getting through times where it seems like the end of the world. It has an uplifting “it won’t be like this forever” message, and sonically reflects those two states of mind and the contrast between them. The single will be available online on Sunday, March 22. In 2019 alone, Last Lions released their debut EP Stop Killing Each Other and embarked on their first national tour to promote it. Before the sweat on their guitars could dry, the quartet launched their next single Hoodie in August with another fruitful tour of southwest WA, supported Brisbane band WAAX at two sold out dates in Fremantle and Perth, and packed out their local haunt Lucy's Love Shack for their own headline show. To close out a huge year, they launched their next single Doctor with their danciest and most beer-in-the-air-sing-alongiest headline show yet, plus played heaving sets supporting Press Club, Gyroscope and Slowly Slowly throughout December.
Don't miss Last Lions' infectious blend of punk, pop, emo and indie rock at The Crown & Anchor Hotel on Thursday
April 9th (public holiday eve).
Agapanther, Hot Mess and Cahli Blakers (Teenage Joans Solo) are coming along for the rider as local supports.
