Like hamsters on a wheel, sometimes we don't quite know how to slow down.
But there are ways to slow down.
And one of the best ways is to get involved in your community and learn the practice of Meditation and Mindfulness.
Mindful meditation is the act of anchoring yourself to the present and learning to cope with stressful thoughts and feelings in a helpful way whilst simultaneously calming the mind and body.
According to
Our Lunchtime Meditation and Mindfulness group runs every Tuesday, and is a safe space for people to be guided through a variety of different Meditation and Mindfulness activites to further develop their own personal practice.
Everyone is welcome to join!
When: Tuesdays 12-1pm (during school term)
Where: SECC Community Hub, 1007 Botany Road Mascot
