Manly is a relaxed beachside suburb on Sydney’s northern shores. Home to surfers, famous authors, actors and many Sydneysiders who are happy to commute to the city daily in exchange for ‘living the dream’ by the beach. It is now becoming known for its modern Australian food & wine, continuing it’s long-held tradition of providing an afternoon escape from the city. To begin our long lunch enjoy a fun cocktail & seafood at a local laneway favourite. Next-up is a swanky coastal restaurant for decadent mains and a refreshing glass of wine. Pop into a seaside art gallery to view the latest contemporary Australian art. Then discover a hidden Palm Springs-style bakehouse for a cheeky, sweet arvo treat, before returning to downtown Sydney.Or you might want to stay for a quick swim and sunset tipple, at one of the many small bars popping-up in this beach side destination. We can always give you a good recommendation. Our Manly Long Lunch walk starts off at Circular Quay - where we catch the Manly fast ferry across to our destination. Is the starting point for each dining walk near public transport? Yes all of our starting points are no more than a 10 minute walk from a train station or bus stop. Does the ticket price cover my fast ferry fare to Manly? Yes we cover your return fare. If you don't have an Opal card you can use ours:) Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event? Because we are visiting licensed drinking establishments our wine & dine with a local walks are only for 18+ aged guests, unless otherwise negociated prior to booking. What if we want to go on a Manly Long Lunch on another day of the week? At the moment we are only offering this dining walk experience on Wednesday and Thursday during the day. Yes as long as you tick the appropriate box in the bookings form we are able to cater for most dietary requests including: vegetarian, allergies, gluten intolerance and dairy intolerance. What should I wear? Although Sydney is a casual & relaxed city we encourage our guests to dress for lunch as we will be dining in some pretty trendy places. What shoes should I wear? Leave the Lady Gaga heels at home as we will be walking between venues so comfy shoes are best! What is included in the booking price? Group bookings include all of the above and other travelers may join the group with a maximum of six guests per group for lunch and ten guests for dinner..Private bookings are only for your crew and we will throw in the option of an Uber pick-up from your inner city hotel and a local food gift for each person at the end of the evening.
