The Strada Stretta Concept, under the auspices of the Valletta 2018 Foundation presents 'Medieval Bohemian Cabaret', a music concert with Tom Armitage and Kirsty Williamson, under the artistic direction of Giuseppe Schembri Bonaci.
The music will be from the Bohemian 1920's French cafe society cabaret, where composers such as Debussy and Hahn would have played their pieces for the first time. There will also be the world premiere of a song cycle called 'Montségur', written by Tom Armitage and performed by Kirsty Williamson. It is an Occitan and uses 6 medieval poems by female troubadours.
