'Meet your Guide' Lunch - Indigenous GPS Program

Come to lunch, meet your Peer Guide and the staff at WIC

This welcome lunch provides First Year students and Peer Guides with the opportunity to be introduced to each other at WIC. Here, you can have a yarn over some delicious food in a culturally safe and respectful environment.

What is the GPS Program?

The GPS program is designed to be directed by you and your Peer Guide. You may want to know how to navigate the different online systems, such as SOLS or MOODLE, you may want to know where the best coffee shops are, or where the best places are to study. Your Peer Guide will have insights into these things and more, and overall they will be a friendly face to help you get settled into university.

The program only requires a minimum of 4 hours commitment over the 4 week period from 24 February to 20 March. After the official program is over, we encourage you to keep catching up with your Peer Guide and utilising all that WIC has to offer.
