Meetup - How to be an amazing networker + some networking

Details British Business Networking Melbourne - #BBNM (01) BRITISH WELCOME + BRIT LOVERS WELCOME --> ANYONE ELSE DARED! This is the first event I will be putting on under the BBNM banner, so I am asking for lots of support. At this event we will kick off with some tips and techniques for networking, such as discussing what is your 30 second elevator pitch, then some quick and easy techniques to disarm the person you are networking with, followed by some fast and furious speed rounds where we will have everyone introduce themselves to someone else and practice what we have just learnt. Over time the idea is for us to become amazing at networking and to be able to do it under any circumstance.... After have a drink and talk about what we learnt and anything else that takes your fancy.. oh suits you sir.... (To be clear, drinking will be allowed, no, expected through out!). Looking to set this as a regular once a month thing and then add in some other events around it... Every month will be at the same venue and on the same second Wednesday of the month.
