We invite budding oboe players to attend the Double Reed Academy at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. Everyone is welcome and all can play and participate. Participation is free!

Taught by Ben Opie.

Topics covered in these classes will include:

reed making workshops
playing opportunities
learning about oboe repertoire (both new and old)
discussions about oboe techniques, styles and playing
meet and hear other players

The 2019 Double Reed Acadamy will be held in our brand new Ian Potter Southbank Centre!
