Mike Bennie presents Misfits of the Wine World

Local writer, critic, presenter and co-founder of P&V Wine + Liquor Merchants, Mike Bennie, hosts a one-night-only event showcasing the misfits of the wine world at Misfits Bar and Dining in Redfern. Over the night there will be eight wine and drinks matched to four courses with all wines focussed on minimal intervention winemaking from avant-garde wine producers.

Then, sit down to enjoy a selection of unconventional wines perfectly paired with a three-course menu by Misfits executive chef, James Privett.

Beef short rib, charred sugarloaf cabbage, pangrattato complements the Brave New Wine Rude Boy 2018 and Vignoble Mingot Cabernet Franc 2016 while burrata, spiced apricots, jalapeno dust, flax seed crisp is paired with with Mac Forbes RS 18 Riesling 2017 and Terada Honke Daigo no Shizuku sake top off the night.
