This workshop will help teachers wanting to learn how to use Minecraft: Education Edition in their classroom to help students enter the 2020 Western Sydney International Airport competition. This comprehensive one-day course is perfect for anyone ready to start using Minecraft: EE in their classroom.
Teachers will learn how to play the game, how to create learning experiences for the game, and how students can create walkthrough videos to showcase their work inside the game.
At the end of the day, participants will leave feeling comfortable and knowledgeable in the basic skills necessary to be up and running successfully using Minecraft: Education Edition in their classroom.
This workshop will be delivered by Megan Townes, a Microsoft Learning Delivery Specialist, and Brett Kent, a NSW DoE STEM.T4L Community Leader.

Completing the Minecraft Teacher Training - 2020 Western Sydney International Airport workshop will contribute 5 hours of NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Registered PD addressing 2.6.2 and 3.4.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
