Artist Biography: Szilvia Gyorgy was born in Budapest. She arrived in Sydney in 1989. She has been practicing sculpture since 2001 in its various manifestations. She is specially drawn to the overlap between art, sculpture and its residual function as design. Her primary medium of choice is porcelain, but loves to experiment with ideas involving various other materials.
