Musicians from Saray Iluminado present instrumental arrangements of Sevdah music from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Sephardic music from the Balkans. Featuring Ernie Gruner (violin, mandolin), Irine Vela (laouto), Dan Witton (double bass) and Kelly Dowall (clarinet, ney, frame drum). We'll be without our vocalist Nela Trifkovic for this gig, and offering our musical answers to her absence as we perform this beautiful repertoire.
