Mer-Made Nemo33 Deep Training and Portfolio Building Experience (2 day) January 2020

Come train your mermaid skills in the 10 metre deep section of Nemo33 in Brussels with expreinced freediving coaches! This is perfect for mers who can dolphin kick confidently and want to work on skills like equalisation in a stunning deep water pool environment, or who want to practice flowing routines that include depth and equalisation elements. There are stunning opportunities for photos and video in this pool.

This extended 2 day experience starts with you arriving in Brussels the night before (transport to Brussels needs to be arranged seperately by you), staying overnight at The Ibis Budget Hotel in South Ruisbroek, 5 minutes drive from the pool. 

There will be two 1.5 hour pool sessions on Saturday,  and a single pool session 10-12 on Sunday morning. On Saturday there will be time in between pool sessions to relax or attend a theory session on equalisation. You'll be supported in the pool by NoTanx coaches and seniors who will work with your individual level of ability and goals to help you find relaxation and flow underwater.

If you want to add a 1-1 half hour photo session with Marcus, our head coach and award winning photographer you can purchase this using the "portfolio building experience" option which includes both the deep training and a 30 minute 1-1 photoshoot. 

We offer the option to attend this as a 1 day event, without the additional overnight stay or pool session, please get in touch if you wish to book this as a 1 day session only (£260, or £360 with the photoshoot) and I will send you a ticket link.

FAQs

Are any minimum requirements to enter the event?
You need to be able to propel yourself confidently in a tail out of your depth. We would suggest that you will get more out of this event if you have attended a Tidal in the past and have a confident dolphin kick.

Are there  minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Over 18's only

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

It is suggested that attendees coming from the UK travel by Eurostar to Brussels Midi-Zuid. You can take the S2 train, or the 50, 4, or the 78 bus from the station direct to the hotel, or travel by taxi. 
There is free parking for guests at the hotel and at Nemo33

Allow some money for taking taxis between Nemo and the hotel.

What do I need to bring?

The usual items you would need for travellling abroad.
Bring your usual swim things, 2 changes of these if you don't want to use wet swimwear for your later pool session.
Mermaid tail (we may be abkle to provide one if you don't have one
Bi-fins and dive mask if you have them.

Nose clip/dive weights if you usually use these.

Underwater camera if you have one.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes, ideally. Please also print, complete and bring along the liability and medical form that we will send you prior to the event.

Do you offer refunds?
We will endeavour to offer refunds up to 30 days before the event date, however some parts of the cost eg pool fees/hotel costs may be non-refundable if they have already been booked by us.
