Ngar Bayal Wed translates to Feet, Dance and Sing/Song. "We use our feet to dance to the songs we sing".
We would love you to come along to see, listen and experience the wailing sounds of Ailan drums and rhythmic creole voices of First Nations Peoples. The aim of the event is to showcase and promote the best of North Queensland Indigenous culture to a varied audience
This experience features Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander dance performances, song and storytelling. You will also have the unique opportunity to join in and learn sit down dance and language with our talented performers.
We are committed to strengthening our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural practices, we would appreciate you joining us for this experience.
These shows will continue for the next month every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 51 The Esplanade.
2:30pm Session: 30 mins, $20 pp with Kids under 10yrs Free
6:30pm Session: 60 mins, $40 pp with Kids under 10yrs Free
