Nundle Go for Gold Chinese Easter Festival is a celebration of Nundle’s gold fields history and the Chinese and European miners that helped form the town in the mid to late 1800s.
The annual festival is held on Easter Saturday and Sunday.
The festival includes striking Chinese dance performances twice daily by the Sydney based Australian Yau Kung Mu Association, live music, gold panning for AUD1,000 worth of genuine Nundle gold, around 100 food, produce, craft and bric-a-brac market stalls and children’s activities including reptile display, animal nursery, jumping castle, magician, story time, and face painting.
