AfroFest

Festival dedicato alla diffusione delle arti e culture del West Africa: wokshops, musica e danze africane, mercatino artigianale, animazioni, laboratori gr IT Il festival "Afro Fest" nasce nel 2015 e giunge quest'anno alla sua terza edizione. La manifestazione è promossa dall'associazione culturale Destination West Africa attiva dal 2010 e punto di riferimento in Italia per lo studio della danza e della musica africana attraverso, laboratori, seminari, workshops ed eventi. Il festival si tiene nella zona di Roma sud, immerso nella campagna romana della riserva naturale di Decima Malafede. Tre giorni, per ricreare un villaggio in cui immergersi nella musica, nella danza e nella cultura africana con la presenza di artisti di fama internazionale. Il Festival è ospitato all'interno degli spazi messi a disposizione dalla Cooperativa Agricoltura Nuova, da anni impegnata nella salvaguardia dell’area, nella produzione agricola biodinamica e in allevamenti biologici, che si occuperà anche della ristorazione. Il festival ha un target che supera i confini della capitale con un pubblico che si muove da tutta Italia e oltre per partecipare a workshops con artisti di altissimo livello internazionale. ENG The "Afro Fest" festival was founded in 2015 and now into its third edition. The event is sponsored by the Cultural association Destination West Africa active since 2010 and reference point in Italy for the study of dance and African music through workshops and events. The festival is held in Rome, in the countryside nature reserve called "Decima Malafede". Three days, to recreate a village in which to immerse themselves in music, dance and african culture with the presence of internationally renowned artists. The Festival is hosted within the space made available by the "Coop Agricultura Nuova", for years engaged in the protection area, with biodynamic agricultural production and organic farms. The festival has a target that exceed the boundaries of Rome with an audience that moves from all over Italy and from abroad to attend workshops with artists of the highest international level.
