Christmas in Dungarvan The Dungarvan & West Waterford Chamber Christmas Voluntary Committee, supported by the Waterford Leader Partnership and Dungarvan Town Council, invites you to experience Christmas in Dungarvan. The engaging combination of great value shopping, outstanding dining opportunities and our warm, festive atmosphere will ensure that all our visitors enjoy a unique Christmas celebration. Dungarvan will be transformed this year, with dazzling illuminations in Walton Park and throughout the town casting a cheerful glow over our festivities. The season begins in November with our Christmas Parade, and continues with events, workshops, and activities for all ages throughout the following weeks. All our events will be widely publicised and updates are available from our website and Facebook page. We hope to welcome visitors from all over the country to Dungarvan this Christmas to enjoy our fantastic shops and local producers, responsible for earning us the accolade of 5th Best Retail Town in Ireland 2012. This unique shopping experience is enhanced and complimented by the impressive quality of our cafes, bars, hotels and restaurants – an excellent way to relax and refuel while you’re with us. It’s our hope that the atmosphere and festivities will also bring our local community together this Christmas to support local businesses and through this strengthen our community.
