Encounter Church

Encounter is a young, dynamic Christian church. We are a diverse mix of people from the surrounding counties and beyond. Our heart is to see people living full and fruitful lives, by encountering Jesus, understanding who they really are and living it out. Welcome to Encounter Church Established in 2014 with just a handful of people, Encounter is a thriving, young, dynamic Christian church. During this time God has steadily added to our numbers, attracting a diverse mix of people from the surrounding counties and beyond. Part of Barnabas Fellowship of Churches, Global Legacy and Churches @ GU16, our heart is to see people living full and fruitful lives, by encountering Jesus, understanding who they really are, and living that out. We meet every Sunday from 10 am at the Deepcut Village Centre in Deepcut, Camberley. For SatNav use postcode GU16 6GF, the entrance to the church is on Crimea Road. There is plenty free parking all around the building. Encounter is one big church family. Family comes in all shapes and sizes, so whether you come as a family group already, are single, divorced, young or old, whatever your background, we'd love you to come along, join us and get involved. Because we value relationship with each other we start each service with tea and coffee, making time to greet each other before transitioning into exuberant worship and the message. During the preach, for those with younger family members, we have an exciting kids ministry. We love spending time in the presence of God and having fun times. The atmosphere of Heaven is one of continual celebration, we want to cultivate that joy in our hearts, lives and families. Joyful expressions of worship are encouraged in our meetings. Be free.
