Freedom Farm Surrey

Freedom Farm Surrey was established in May 2016 by a passionate mother of three who dreams of a place that can take children back to the simple way life was once lived.  A place to connect children to eachother, to reignite the power of their imaginations and to bring balance back to children's minds and spirits.  It is proven that time spent in soil (healthy living soil) releases a "happy hormone" called seritonin in the brain.  This mechanism decreases Depression and anxiety in humans and animals. This is just one of the fascinating things to look forward to through spending time with the earth.  A connection to clean, healthy, whole food is also very important for this generation and future generations to come.  How does food grow? What does it look like as it grows? Why is it important to eat such foods?   Join Lianne, Organic farmer, Bee keeper, Naturalist, RMT, and mother in creating a safe place for kids to come and be kids. It can also be noted that Lianne has over 19 years of experience working with children, from teaching swim lessons as a lifeguard for the city of surrey to running children's camps for carnival cruise lines as well as experience in Early Childhood Intervention Treatment with autistic children.  Lianne also volunteered coaching swim club for Sepically Olympics for several years.
