Herts Inclusive Theatre

Herts Inclusive Theatre is a registered charity (ID: 1136031) offering children, young people and adults, many of whom have learning and physical disabilities, the opportunity to participate in drama, dance and music in an inclusive and safe environment. Our aim is to provide a Stage for Everyone regardless of their skills or abilities.

Many of HIT participants often feel alienated from mainstream activities and their involvement with us creates an opportunity and a platform for self expression. We use inclusivity to break down barriers between mainstream and disabled participants offering real-time, experiential theatre practice without judgement.

We offer a lively and varied program of events and performances in tandem with our regular group work for promotion and fundraising so that we can maintain financial support to our participants by offering heavily subsidised rates.
