Hoodoo Adventure & Kayak Club

If you're of the adventuresome type, you will most certainly meet other adventuresome types right here in Penticton's own Kayak and Adventure Clubs. Get out and play every week with the Adventure Club & Kayak Club, operated by Hoodoo Adventures. Our Kayak Club has a rotating door of over 100 members. Regular kayak paddles every Tuesday from 6-8 pm, and every other weekend. We paddle from Vaseux to Kalamalka. Sometimes we just paddle, other times we will have a potluck, BBQ or wine tasting afterwords. Each year we do a weekend trip, and rescue, paddle skills and rolling practice, and more. Drop in fees are $10 per person per trip, rentals and safety equipment available for $15, Flex-Pass (10 trips) $75, and year membership $100. You're always accompanied by a qualified Hoodoo guide. Schedules are available on the website. Newly incepted this year is the Adventure Club extends into a broader adventure community and include kayaking, hiking, indoor and outdoor climbing and mountain biking. Regular outings run on Wednesday nights from 6-8 pm and every other weekend. The yearly fee is $150, with a drop in fee of $55 per person, per trip. Rental costs vary depending on the activity. Some trips have additional costs for things like catering.
