Long Close PTA

The Long Close School PTA (Parent Teacher Association) Committee is made up of elected committee members that are parents, carers, guardians, teaching and non-teaching staff of pupils currently at the school. Role of the PTA The Long Close Parent Teacher Association's objective is to support Long Close School, helping to provide a stimulating and pleasant environment for the children. We work closely with the staff of the school to provide additional resources and improve facilities through fundraising. The Structure of the PTA All parents and guardians of children of the school are members of the PTA, which meets regularly to plan and host the fundraising events. The parents of the children are represented by a committee formed by volunteer parents/guardians and members of staff. An Annual General Meeting is held in October each year to elect the committee members.
