National Irish Safety Organisation

Since 1963, the National Irish Safety Organisation (NISO) has been the leading body providing training and advice in the area of workplace health and safety.With thousands of companies, organisations and individuals in membership and using our services, NISO has the experience and commitment to assist you with your occupational health and safety requirements. NISO is a national not for profit organisation with the specific purpose of promoting best practice, providing training and advice, preventing injury in Irish workplaces and building strong safety cultures. NISO’s central office is located in Dublin but the organisation operates through eight regional structures to ensure nationwide provision of services and training courses. An executive committee oversees the work of NISO and that includes representatives from the regions as well as nominees from the Health and Safety Authority, the Insurance Industry Federation, the Irish Congress of Trade Unions and the Irish Business and Employers Confederation.
