The two houses are owned and managed by RMHC Ireland, an independent registered charity (CHY no. 12553) which was set up in 1997. RHMC Ireland is the Irish chapter of the global Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). McDonald’s Restaurants of Ireland, McDonald’s Owner Operators and McDonald’s Suppliers all support our various fundraising events. McDonald’s customers very generously contribute to the charity via the collection boxes and spinners in the McDonald’s stores. Thank you for your support. Families stay for many weeks and for some many months. The Ronald McDonald House provides accommodation for 20 families but more than that it offers families care, comfort and support at a time when their lives have been turned upside down by their child's illness.
