Transition Homes CLT

Transition Homes is a Community Land Trust based in Totnes, Devon. We are developing plans to build affordable, sustainable housing in Dartington. Affordable, sustainable housing for Dartington. We're a community-led charity, run by volunteers who live in Dartington & surrounding parishes, who recognised the need for affordable housing, and for sustainable housing, in the area. We own a 7 acre site (known as Clay Park), adjacent to Clay Lane, Dartington, and are developing plans for 25 homes, built of local natural materials including straw and timber. Transition Homes is more than 'just houses' - it's about helping people to live in sustainable way, to create a resilient community, and to be an exemplar for further developments.
