We have created a friendly open environment, "A crafting home from home", "A sanctuary" where local crafters & families can practice, learn, teach and sell their crafts. A place to share skills and new ideas encouraging community engagement, increasing social well-being, removing isolation and even mentoring transitions into employment. Let's all learn how to "make do and mend" and pass on skills to the next generation. About Faye; 5 years ago I was unemployed due to long term illness & was unsuccessful in getting work. I had a dream forming in my mind while spending endless hours creating crochet goodies. The dream was for a full time crafting studio that I could share with the local community. A comfortable space, light and airy with easy access. I then met Xtina Lamb of Medway Fine Printmakers. She had just moved into INTRA which happened to have the perfect space for me to fulfill the dream.  In less than 3 months from idea conception we opened our public drop in studio on 18 March 2014. In addition to the wonderful drop in facility we also host a variety of workshops and classes. Some of which have become regular additions to our calendar, such as crochet skills and the innovative practical sewing classes.We are coming to the end of our fifth year and have had masses of support from the community, locally and online.
