In 2015, the University of Tennessee, Knoxville formed Teaching & Learning Innovation (TLI). Bringing together the Experience Learning QEP initiative and the offices of Service-Learning, Online Programs and the Teaching & Learning Center, TLI began an educational journey to further enhance the Volunteer Experience.
With a focus on evidence-based teaching and learning practices, TLI engages faculty in the creation and implementation of educational experiences and environments that are transformative, innovative, inclusive, and outcomes-focused. As a unit within Academic Affairs, TLI acts as the catalyst for effective student learning through instructional support and development.
