Warwick Congress

Warwick Congress is an entirely student-run conference collectively bringing together the disciplines of: Finance, Economics, Law and Politics. Warwick Congress is an entirely student-run enterprise that aims to fill the void in the market for events encompassing both academic and career-focused elements for students. We achieve this by bringing together Finance, Economics, Politics and Law, providing delegates with a holistic view of the major issues in the world today. With 500 delegates, the three-day conference will consist of talks from the industries’ leading professionals, Q&A Panels, specialist careers and speaker seminars and our Grand Gala. Our team is made up of over 80 students from diverse backgrounds and many different degrees from Economics and Law to Chemistry and Classics. Warwick Congress 2018 is to be held during February 9-11th 2018 at the University of Warwick. The main theme this year is INNOVATION, with a focus on the role of social media in new politics and the potential shift of global trade to protectionism. Warwick Congress, however, is more than just a conference: we had our Corporate Showcase Event on the 19th October 2017 at the Stanley Building in Pancras Square, in the heart of London. We also had our Exclusive Networking Event on the 3rd November where representatives from BCG, EY, Norton Rose Fulbright and Womble Bond Dickinson came to hold seminars for students, giving advice about their industry, interview tips and case simulations. At Warwick Congress, we give students the opportunity to interact with employers more directly. We also provide a fresh, alternative perspective on current affairs through our articles and our radio show.
